Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Sous Chef.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a chef with a passion for great food and current knowledge of food trends.
This independent Inn is looking for an enthusiastic chef to work with the Head Chef to lead a small team, develop menus and help to continue to grow the business, the Inn attracts guests from all over the world.
You might already be a Sous Chef or a Chef looking to step up in to the next stage of your career. You could have experience in hotels, restaurants, corporate catering or gastro pubs.
Duties will include.
Leading, directing and controlling the food preparation process and services in the absence of the Head Chef.
Maintain excellent food and culinary trend knowledge.
Develop and write menus, recipes and develop dishes with the Head Chef.
Manage stock and ordering.
Ensuring the maintenance of exemplary kitchen hygiene standards.
Skills and experience Required;
Proven experience in a busy kitchen.
Genuine interest in delighting customers.
Great organisations skills.
Friendly and able to contribute to the 'nice place to work' atmosphere.
