Sourcing Manager

Overview

A leading organisation is seeking a Sourcing & Procurement Manager to champion responsible sourcing, drive procurement excellence, and embed sustainability into every aspect of the supply chain. You will integrate ESG principles into procurement practices while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. You will be at the heart of supplier relationship management, risk mitigation, and process optimisation, collaborating with teams across the business to support strategic goals.

What You'll Do

As a Sourcing and Procurement Manager, you will oversee the entire procurement lifecycle-from developing robust sourcing strategies to managing supplier relationships with care. Your day-to-day activities will involve:

• Establishing and nurturing dependable relationships with key suppliers to ensure that performance metrics such as quality, delivery, and cost are consistently met or exceeded.
• Continuously monitoring and assessing supplier performance, implementing improvement initiatives that support the organisation's evolving needs.
• Proactively managing supplier risk profiles by identifying potential risks early and collaborating with suppliers to mitigate any supply chain disruptions.
• Developing and executing comprehensive sourcing strategies that deliver competitive pricing, high-quality goods and services, and timely delivery across all procurement categories.
• Leading the integration of sustainability into procurement strategy by making sourcing decisions that reflect the organisation's commitment to environmental responsibility.

What You Bring

Your proven background as a Sourcing and Procurement Manager will be evident through your ability to foster dependable supplier partnerships built on trust and shared values.

• Proven sourcing and procurement leadership, with strong supplier management, negotiation, and cost optimisation experience.
• Hands-on experience in New Product Development (NPD), managing or coordinating product development from brief to production readiness.
• Deep understanding of materials, manufacturing, and supply chains, ideally within textiles, homewares, or consumer goods.
• Track record of driving supplier-led innovation and embedding sustainability and ESG principles into sourcing and product development.
• Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, working effectively across Brand, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
