Solutions Architect

Lynx Recruitment are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to design and deliver modern, cloud-first digital services that support large-scale public sector transformation.

This role is ideal for a Cloud or Solution Architect looking to expand into AI-led architecture, with greater exposure to data platforms, automation, and AI-driven capabilities. You will shape secure, scalable and user-focused solutions, working within multidisciplinary teams to translate business needs into pragmatic, sustainable technical architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cloud-native architectures across applications, data, integration, and platforms.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical designs and architectural decisions.
• Ensure solutions meet scalability, security, resilience, and performance requirements.
• Support the integration of AI and automation capabilities into enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with delivery teams including engineers, analysts, and AI specialists.
• Provide architectural governance and oversight through build and live service stages.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Solution or Cloud Architect delivering services on AWS, Azure or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of modern architecture patterns including APIs, integrations, and data platforms.
• Experience working in public sector or regulated environments is beneficial.
• Interest or experience in AI, automation, or data-driven architectures.
• Strong stakeholder communication and architectural decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.

Education:

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related technology discipline with a minimum 2:1 (or equivalent).
