Solutions Architect API & Cloud Financial Services

Cpl are delighted to partner with a highly innovative Irish financial services organisation seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join their growing team. This role will play a key part in delivering a modern, API-driven platform, designed to be scalable, secure, and cloud-ready, supporting digital channels within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement an API-first, composable architecture
• Evaluate technologies and integration patterns to support digital transformation
• Lead vendor selection and manage supplier relationships
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and resilience standards
• Collaborate closely with engineering and delivery teams

Required Experience

• 3-5 years' experience in senior Solutions Architecture roles
• Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with API gateways (Mulesoft, Kong, Tyk, AWS API Gateway, Azure APIM)
• Knowledge of security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, TLS)
• Familiarity with GDPR, DORA, and ISO 27001
