Solution Architect (Azure)

Location: London (near Camden Town)

Hybrid working model (one day per week on-site in London)

Salary: 70,000 - 75,000

Full-time, Permanent

A large, purpose-led charity is seeking an experienced Azure Solution Architect to support a major Enterprise Foundations Programme and its transition into BAU.

This role is working closely with Programme and Architecture teams to shape workstreams, lead solution design, and ensure Azure-based solutions align with the wider architectural vision and business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and technical design across enterprise programmes
• Own Azure solution design across data platforms, integrations, and reporting
• Produce clear high-level and low-level designs describing end-to-end technical architecture
• Lead deployment and service transition into BAU, ensuring operational readiness
• Drive technology change initiatives in collaboration with internal teams and third-party suppliers
• Provide architectural assurance and guidance throughout delivery.

Required experience

• Extensive experience in a Solution Architect / Technical Design role
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure data landscapes, including integrations and reporting
• Proven ability to lead architecture across complex, multi-workstream programmes
• Experience owning deployment and service transition processes
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage up to Director level
• Ability to drive collaboration across virtual, multi-cultural, matrixed teams and third parties
