We're looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Solutions Architect to join our IT team in London. This is a key role focused on shaping, improving, and maintaining a secure, efficient, and high-performing technology environment that supports the firm's operations and strategic goals.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, the Solutions Architect will design, implement, and optimise systems and integrations that enhance business processes and service delivery. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, an analytical mindset, and the ability to translate complex business needs into practical, scalable IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of existing IT systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity defences, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Design and implement innovative technical solutions that streamline workflows and enhance efficiency across the organisation.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the firm's technology strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend areas for continuous improvement.
• Design, build, and maintain API integrations to enable seamless data flow between key business systems.
• Use SQL, JSON, OData, and REST APIs to manage and develop data warehousing solutions in line with best practices.
• Leverage Microsoft Power Apps and related tools to enhance system functionality and user experience.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify pain points and propose effective, secure solutions.
• Ensure all IT systems comply with security standards and accreditation requirements.
• Produce and maintain detailed IT documentation and architectural designs.
• Respond to escalated incidents and service requests when required.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, or similar technical role.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, architecture design, and integration methods.
• Advanced understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and Azure cloud services.
• Familiarity with legal sector applications (eg iManage, 3E, Intapp, Mimecast, Tessian, Litera) is advantageous.
• Experience with API development, data integration, and automation tools.
• Proficiency in SQL, JSON, OData, and REST APIs; experience with data warehousing best practices.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps and low-code/no-code integration tools.
• Strong grasp of IT security principles and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively in a structured manner.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
• Familiarity with ITIL methodologies, particularly change, problem, and availability management.
