Citi isseeking a highly experienced and driven Solution Train Engineer (STE) to lead acritical initiative modernizing our core banking systems. This high-impact roleinvolves coordinating a new Agile Release Train (ART) focused on re-engineeringa legacy system, while seamlessly integrating with existing ARTs responsiblefor critical banking functions. This flagship program will leveragecutting-edge technologies and processes to re-platform the legacy system anddevelop a new web-based application, setting the standard for innovation andexcellence within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and Lead the SolutionTrain: Launchand lead the Solution Train, fostering a collaborative environment acrossmultiple ARTs and stakeholders.
  
• Drive the Re-engineeringInitiative: Guidethe new ART through the re-engineering process, ensuring alignment withthe overall solution vision, architectural roadmap, and businessobjectives. This includes re-platforming the legacy system and developinga new web-based application.
  
• Coordinate with Existing ARTs: Collaborate closely withRTEs and stakeholders in existing ARTs to manage dependencies, ensureseamless integration, and optimize value delivery across the solutiontrain.
  
• Champion Agile and LeanPractices: Promoteand facilitate the adoption of Agile and Lean principles and practicesacross the solution train, coaching ARTs and stakeholders on theireffective application.
  
• Facilitate Solution TrainEvents: Planand facilitate key solution train events, including Pre- and Post-PIPlanning, Solution Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
  
• Manage Risks and Dependencies: Proactively identify andmanage risks and dependencies across the solution train, escalatingcritical issues and facilitating resolution.
  
• Drive Architectural Alignment: Collaborate witharchitects and technical leads to ensure alignment with the solutionarchitecture and technical strategy.
  
• Track and Report Progress: Monitor and report on thesolution train's progress towards strategic objectives, providingtransparent and timely updates to senior leadership.
  
• Foster Innovation andContinuous Improvement: Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvementacross the solution train, encouraging experimentation and learning fromsuccesses and failures.
  
• Champion Cutting-EdgeTechnologies: Promotethe adoption and effective utilization of cutting-edge technologies withinthe solution train, ensuring the program remains at the forefront ofinnovation in the financial industry.
  

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in Agileleadership roles, including experience as an RTE or STE.
  
• Proven experience launching andleading Agile Release Trains and Solution Trains.
  
• Deep understanding of Agile andLean principles and practices, including SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
  
• Experience with legacy systemmodernization, re-platforming, and large-scale software developmentprojects.
  
• Strong technical acumen andfamiliarity with modern web technologies and banking systems.
  
• Excellent communication,facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Proven ability to influence anddrive change within a complex organizational environment.
  
• Experience with Agile projectmanagement tools (e.g., Jira, Rally).
