Solution Architect

This role is responsible for shaping and delivering IT solutions across public sector projects. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to translate requirements into effective, compliant, and costed solutions that align with enterprise architecture and IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse business requirements, identify capability gaps, and design solutions to bridge them.
• Collaborate with project managers, enterprise architects, and bid teams to ensure solutions meet business, technical, and commercial needs.
• Oversee solution design, provide technical leadership, and support delivery teams through implementation.
• Review supplier proposals, ensuring compliance with standards, roadmaps, and security best practices.
• Communicate complex technical details in clear terms to non-technical stakeholders.

Skills & Experience:

• Expertise in areas such as CRM, case management, cloud (Azure, SaaS), Dynamics, data analytics, RPA/AI, or telephony.
• Strong background in solution design for outsourced or government environments.
• Ability to balance technical, business, and commercial considerations.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Degree in IT (or equivalent experience); TOGAF or similar framework knowledge desirable.
• Experience in asset management or transport-related solutions advantageous.
• Security clearance eligibility
