An exciting new opportunity has arisen in our Banbury office within the Private Client Department.
This role would suit a Wills & Probate Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive, with experience of working independently on a range of Private Client matters.

- Attend to clients
- Produce accurate detailed work to ensure excellence in legal services
- Maintain files and ensure efficient case management of Private Client matters
- Draft any documentation in accordance with efficient file management including correspondence, briefs, court documentation, full attendance notes and statements of evidence
- Time record in accordance with the Firm's policy and prepare bills as necessary
- Attend to clients in the office or in their homes
- Undertake work necessary to build up maintain and manage a caseload
- Undertake any reasonable instructions made by Directors, Department Heads or Fee Earners within the limits of this job description
- Attend department meetings as required
- Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 3 years' PQE or equivalent fee earning experience, running their own caseload with minimal supervision
- Experience of running a varied caseload of wills, LPAs and probate matters, including complex probate files
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word and Outlook and good keyboard skills
- Ability to work within quality and case management systems. Experience of using Tikit is desirable
- Dynamic in approach and uses initiative when dealing with current or potential clients
- A positive approach to customer service
- A team player and flexible in approach
- Ability to deal with sensitive situations and difficult clients in a professional, confidential manner
- Sufficient knowledge of the legal process to understand the work being undertaken
- Knowledge of the work of a Private Client Department and the relevant law
- Experience of legal procedures
- Ability to travel between offices and attend off-site appointments as required
