Solicitor / FCILEX - Corporate and Commercial - 5+ years PQE

I am working with a highly respected regional law firm that is looking to recruit an experienced Corporate & Commercial Solicitor / FCILEx to join and support the continued growth of their Corporate and Commercial team.

The team advises clients across a broad range of sectors, including e?commerce, IT, engineering, logistics, manufacturing, professional services, property & development, and retail. Working alongside a collaborative team of three experienced lawyers, you will help clients achieve their business goals while minimising legal risk.

• Advising on acquisitions, mergers and disposals
• Supporting clients on business start-ups, corporate finance and e?commerce matters
• Drafting and advising on franchise agreements
• Providing guidance on intellectual property matters
• Assisting with management buy?outs (MBOs) and buy?ins (MBIs)
• Handling reorganisations, demergers and corporate restructures
• Advising on employment and recruitment compliance
• Contributing to business development and attending networking events to promote the firm

The firm offers hybrid working, with additional flexible arrangements available (part-time or term-time working). This role can be based at either the Newcastle city centre office or Stockton-on-Tees, with occasional travel between offices as required.

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx)
• Minimum of 5 years' PQE in corporate and/or commercial law (combined experience preferred but specialist experience will also be considered)
• Strong team player with excellent organisational and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously while delegating tasks efficiently
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and provide proactive client advice
