Solicitor - Employment (Healthcare sector)

As an Employment Associate or Principal Associate (depending on experience), you will manage a diverse caseload of employment matters, including advocacy, and provide HR employment law advice to clients, primarily within the healthcare sector.
Requirements include:
- Managing a mixed caseload of employment work within the healthcare sector
- Providing HR employment law advice
- Conducting advocacy at Employment Tribunals
- Supervising junior team members
- Drafting and preparing legal documents, tribunal responses, bundles, witness statements, and reports
- Drafting articles and legal updates
- Assisting with business development, including training and networking
- Working in accordance with client and internal SLAs
- Aligning with Weightmans' values and procedures
- Achieving set financial and chargeable targets

About YouIdeally, you will have previous experience and a genuine interest in employment law within the healthcare sector.
Essential qualifications and skills include:
- Qualified Solicitor with 3-8 years PQE
- Experience or familiarity with the healthcare sector (desirable)
- Ability to manage complex Employment Tribunal cases
- Advocacy experience
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Strong academic and technical knowledge
- Ability to supervise junior team members
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and targets
- Flexible approach
