DAC Beachcroft is seeking an Experienced Paralegal/ Lawyer to join our Chronic Pain team, accepting candidates nationwide.

Our leading motor injury team collaborates with over 40 insurance companies and self-insured corporates. We are known for our innovative approach, analyzing market behaviors and providing bespoke strategies based on our insights.

The team handles injury claims of varying complexity and values, seeking a passionate individual who can think creatively and contribute to innovative solutions.

What you will do?

• Assist lawyers in managing high-value Chronic Pain files.
• Take responsibility for tasks such as investigations, disclosure, medical records review, expert coordination, and preparing bundles.
• Maintain key date reminders and case timetables for case progression.
• Prompt lawyers to action diarized matters.
• Record management information accurately and maintain relevant documents.
• Enhance technical knowledge through courses, training, and reading.
• Handle routine correspondence with clients, third parties, and claimants' solicitors, including scheduling conferences and examinations.

Who you are

• Reporting to the principal lawyer and team partner, you should have:
  • An interest in complex and catastrophic injury claims.
  • Knowledge of Chronic Pain is desirable.
• Experience with litigated bodily injury claims.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to advise clients from a business perspective.
• Flexible, adaptable, and a team player with a collaborative approach.
