Sole-Charge Nanny for 12 Month Old (Oxford) 4 Days/Week

Job Overview

This fantastic position has become available for an experienced, kind, caring Nanny to work for a professional family in Oxford. The role is to start in mid July and is sole charge for a happy 12 month old. They are looking for a Nanny who is fun, cheerful and who will enjoy planning age appropriate activities for this little one, in the home but also who enjoys the outdoors such as going to parks and local activities and groups. A French speaking Nanny would be ideal, although this is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Solely responsible for the care of a 12 month old child.
• Provide a nurturing and encouraging environment from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
• Plan and execute age appropriate indoor and outdoor activities, including visits to parks and local community groups.
• Assist with the child's development and well being.
• Maintain a safe and clean home environment.

• Pay: £18 gross an hour (approximately £33,696 Gross per annum)

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience working with children of the same age and in a similar role.
• Childcare qualifications essential; a French speaking nanny would be preferred but is not essential.
• Up to date enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
• 12 hour paediatric first aid certificate.
• Minimum of 2 professional referees, with one being the current or last employer, both immediately contactable.
• Appropriate professional insurance (nanny insurance) is recommended.
