Job Title: Sole Charge Nanny - Part-Time Term Time / Full-Time School Holidays
Location: Fulham, London SW6
Start Date: End of August / beginning of September
Salary: Negotiable
Hours: Term time: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 1.00pm-6.00pm; Thursday, 8.00am-6.00pm. School holidays: Monday to Friday, 8.00am-6.00pm.

Job Overview:

A family based in Fulham, SW6, is seeking an energetic, proactive, gentle and caring Sole Charge Nanny for their two children, a boy aged 5 and a girl aged 2 years and 9 months.

During term time, the little girl attends nursery during the week, with the nanny spending the full day with her on Thursdays. The 5-year-old boy has mild autism and requires encouragement and support with day-to-day activities. He is fully verbal and receives Occupational Therapy (OT) support, and the nanny will be required to help and support him with his exercises.

The family are looking for a nanny who genuinely cares about children's education and development and is happy to spend plenty of time engaging with the children through floor play and age-appropriate activities. This is a sole charge role. Driver not required. No pets.

Responsibilities:

Providing attentive, age-appropriate sole charge care for both children.
Supporting the children's development through engaging and educational activities.
Providing plenty of interactive and floor-based play.
Encouraging and supporting the 5-year-old with day-to-day activities.
Helping and supporting him with exercises recommended by his Occupational Therapist.
Planning and preparing age-appropriate activities.
Completing nursery duties.
Preparing and cooking meals for the children.

Ideal Nanny:

Experienced in caring for children of a similar age.
Fluent English essential.
Comfortable supporting a child with mild autism and following OT guidance.
Energetic and proactive.
Gentle, caring and nurturing.
Fun and happy to engage in plenty of floor-based play.
Genuinely interested in supporting children's education and development.
Present New Zealand Nanny highly recommends.
Non-smoker.
