Drivers licence & Experience in a Roofer or a Solar Installer role is essential. Penrith, Cumbria. £15 - £20 per hour / up to £41,600 salary. Full-time, Permanent, 40 hours per week.

A well established and continuously growing renewable energy business in Cumbria is looking to expand its installation team with the addition of a Solar Installer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward thinking company operating across both domestic and commercial projects, with a strong pipeline of work in the region.

The Solar Installer Role

Working an 8 till 5 PM shift, you will start from the office and head to site with a Solar Electrician, travelling to sites in a company van.

Key Responsibilities

• Installing solar panel systems to roofs along with their mounting structures
• Supporting electrical wiring and connecting system components (full training will be provided)
• Carrying out work safely at height and in various outdoor conditions
• Making sure all installations comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards
• Working closely and cooperatively with your installation teammate
