Tech Lead / Lead Software Engineer

Salary up to £85k+ Benefits + Bonus

A Lead Software Engineer opportunity within a growing SaaS product business. The Lead Software Engineer will remain hands-on in developing the SaaS product in a modern engineering environment, leading a small pod of developers as part of an Agile Product team

The company are expanding their software products and require a dedicated Full stack Software Engineer / Lead, previous experience leading projects or mentoring other developers is essential.

The company have offices in Berkshire and Surrey area and can offer flexible Hybrid working options.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and mentor software engineers - resolving any tech issues by effective collaboration

Remain hands-on in a full stack Microsoft environment SaaS product

• Implement software engineering best practices - Agile, SOLID, etc
• Engage with Senior stakeholders on project updates, as required

Key experience

• Experience as a Tech Lead or Lead Developer, guiding other experienced engineers
• A hands-on software engineering background, ideally full stack; .NetCore, JavaScript / Blazor, Azure, SQL
• Agile leadership and implementing software engineering best practice
• Excellent communicator, able to liaise with all levels of a business
• Previous experience developing effective customer facing applications is desirable
