What you'll achieve

As a Software Senior Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer's business goals, needs and general business environment, creating software solutions.

You will

• Contribute to the development and architecture of our industry leading modern storage platforms and take part in the full software development life cycle, including development, test, continuous delivery, and support
• Create detailed technical designs for new features and improvements. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all areas
• Implement features and test automation related to networking of storage systems
• Work on discovery task and proof of concepts around modern networking solutions
• Implement company standards and practices to ensure quality and security.

Essential Requirements

• 8 to 10 years of related experience in the following areas:
• Exceptional programming expertise, with a strong focus on Python or C
• Strong understanding of modern Linux, including the kernel, drivers, containers, early boot, and other low level technologies
• Ability to write clean, testable code; familiarity with unit/integration/system testing and CI/CD
• Self driven and detail oriented, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks from design to implementation

Desirable Requirements

• Familiarity and hands on experience with Storage systems
• Knowledge about networking (ethernet, infiniband etc.)
• Capacity to achieve proficiency in new tools, languages and frameworks with training and on the job experience
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment
