Role Overview

The role of Software Engineer focuses on manufacturing IT system development, data management, and data analysis, supporting the advancement of our cutting-edge production technologies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate innovation, creativity, and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, along with a strong desire for continuous technical and professional growth. Working as part of a collaborative Engineering team, the successful applicant will contribute to a dynamic and challenging environment, driving improvements and solutions within a technology-led manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing manufacturing IT systems to ensure reliability and performance.
• Take ownership of production-level systems, including deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support.
• Contribute to the design, development, and integration of new software solutions that support manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Develop, test, and optimize software applications for efficient data collection, analysis, visualization, and communication.
• Identify opportunities to improve system functionality and support the adoption of innovative technologies within production environments.
• Effective team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work cross-functionally with engineering and production teams.
• Demonstrates initiative and responsibility for delivering high-quality results and maintaining system integrity within deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of tasks from concept to delivery.
• Eager to expand technical and professional knowledge, and apply new skills to projects.
• Demonstrates creativity in problem-solving and a passion for developing new ideas.
• Experience with Gitlab/GitHub.
• Experience working with JSON document databases (e.g., MongoDB, Couchbase).
• Flexible and proactive in supporting operational needs as required.
