Software Engineer

DV Cleared Software Engineer - 6 months+ - £575-675pd Inside IR35 -London (Full time on site) + Other site travel

Key Responsibilities

• Debug, enhance and maintain Back End code within secure client environments.
• Work across multiple languages and codebases, identifying and resolving technical issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support ongoing delivery.
• Support potential transition areas such as User Acceptance Testing and Early Life Support.
• Adhere to secure coding standards and follow all on-site security protocols.
• Provide technical insight on system behaviour, performance, and integration challenges.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Active DV Clearance (mandatory)

Strong experience with:

• Java
• JavaScript
• C++
• Proven background in Back End development and debugging within complex systems.
• Ability to work on restricted networks within secure on-site environments.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in System Integration (ideal but not essential)
• Exposure to secure government or defence programmes
