Job Description

We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our united, dedicated, and enthusiastic team at LINK Mobility, Europe's leading provider of mobile messaging.

As a Software Engineer, you'll be joining our UK engineers to build and maintain a robust messaging solution. As part of our team, you'll be delivering software solutions using a variety of technologies and programming languages. Expect to tackle a variety of challenges, from troubleshooting and resolving operational issues to creating and rolling out thrilling new features that will delight users. It's a rewarding and customer focused environment where your contributions will make a real impact.

YOUR RESPONSABILITIES

  • Participate in the entire production life cycle of backend and frontend applications for our messaging business (full-stack development)
  • Help the support teams diagnose and resolve technical queries from customers
  • Maintain solutions and resolve operational issues as they arise
  • Work closely with the rest of the team to implement features on our roadmap
  • Ensure the best performance, quality, cost efficiency possible of the applications
  • Share information with the rest of the team and provide solid technical documentation

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of professional experience building and maintaining web applications
  • Understanding of relational and non-relational databases
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with a cloud provider like AWS or Google
  • Understanding of software and security best practices
  • BS/MS degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent with programming experience in multiple languages
  • Experience monitoring and managing highly available applications
  • Experience building and maintaining APIs
  • Experience with PHP, Node.js, MongoDB
  • Based in the UK

VALUABLE BUT NOT REQUIRED

  • Experience with SQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Knockout.js and Tailwind.css
  • Experience building web interfaces
