DEPARTMENT: BBC Product Group, Content & Content Metadata
LOCATION: Salford - Hybrid, 1 day per week in the office
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £43,000 - £51,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

BBC Extend
This role is advertised as part of our BBC Extend programme for disabled people. Your Skills And Experience
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Expertise designing, building and supporting modern Cloud based applications using Typescript/JavaScript and NodeJS
- Expertise in Cloud architecture and key technologies (we use AWS extensively)
- Expertise in modern development tools and practices (CI/CD, DevOps, Pair Programming, TDD)
- Developing software with scale, security and performance in mind.
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- Experience developing systems using microservices architecture
- Experience developing systems using event driven architecture
