We're looking for an experienced Facilities Management professional to lead the development, assurance, and transformation of Soft FM services across the UK Training Estate, supporting over 9,000 assets across 200,000 hectares.
This senior role will drive service excellence, compliance, supplier performance, and continuous improvement across a diverse portfolio of services including cleaning, catering assurance, waste management, fuel accounting, retail, and leisure.
What You'll Do- Lead the strategic development of Soft FM services across the business.
- Develop and embed assurance, compliance, and governance frameworks.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Manage key supplier relationships, contracts, and procurement activity.
- Oversee performance reporting, KPIs, and CAFM systems.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, contractual, and health & safety requirements.
- Influence senior stakeholders and support business-wide transformation initiatives.
- Significant experience in Facilities Management, Soft Services, or Estates Management.
- Strong knowledge of Soft FM operations, compliance, audits, and assurance.
- Experience managing contracts, suppliers, and service performance.
- Knowledge of HACCP, health & safety legislation, and waste management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with CAFM systems and digital tools.
- Defence or MoD experience.
- Fuels management or industrial cleaning experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- National travel and occasional overnight stays.
- Ability to obtain BPSS and UK Security Clearance.
