Overview: Social Worker Tutor

An opportunity to join an innovative and rapidly growing training provider, we are looking for an experienced Social Worker Tutor to deliver the L6 Social Worker apprenticeship to learners.

The role is home based, full-time, permanent. Applicants looking for part-time may also be considered for this vacancy.

The successful candidate will need to have at least 3 years' occupational experience in a Social Worker setting and a Social Worker qualification (degree or equivalent).

Qualifications and Competencies: Social Worker Tutor

• A minimum 3 years' occupational experience as a Social Worker
• Degree or equivalent Social Worker related qualified
• Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage own diary
• Full UK Driving License

Duties: Social Worker Tutor

• Train, assess, motivate and support L6 Social Worker learners on programmes towards achieving their Social Worker L6 (integrated degree) qualification
• Maximise the use of e-learning and using a variety of assessment methods to ensure learners have the chance to evidence their knowledge in a variety of ways.
• Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved Social Worker training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner.
