Your Role

As a Social Worker with us, you'll champion the voice of the child and work relationally with families and partners to create lasting, positive change. You'll play a key part in shaping excellent practice and ensuring children's experiences are at the heart of every decision.


What You'll Do

  • Make confident, timely decisions grounded in statutory responsibilities

  • Lead on Child in Need, Child Protection and Court work

  • Build strong, compassionate relationships with children and families

  • Communicate clearly, openly and respectfully

  • Co create effective support plans that meet children's needs

  • Work collaboratively with partners to gain a full picture of each child's circumstances

  • Advocate for children's voices, rights and lived experiences

  • Engage in reflective supervision and take ownership of your practice

  • Support and mentor less experienced colleagues, modelling best practice

About You

  • Registered with Social Work England

  • Completed the ASYE and have at least 1 year post qualifying experience

  • Skilled at forming meaningful relationships with children and families

  • Organised, reflective and confident in prioritising your workload

  • Creative in championing the voices of children

  • Dedicated to high standards, ethics and resilient practice
