Avista is a person-centred, rights-based organisation that is dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with disabilities. We provide a wide range of services including Day, Residential and Respite supports to both children and adults in various locations across Dublin, Limerick and North Tipperary.

Avista is looking for candidates who are committed to supporting people with Intellectual Disabilities and their families, in a person-centred, community based, socially inclusive manner in accordance with our core values and ethos and underpinned by quality, best practice and research.

APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION:

Social Worker MDT SERVICES, DUBLIN
  • Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.
  • REF: 103159
  • Hold an NQSW or equivalent
  • Be registered with the Social Workers Registrar (CORU) with active CPD Portfolio
  • Social work experience in the area of services for people with a disability.
  • Certificates of completion for 'Safeguarding Adults at Risk of Abuse - E-learning module' and 'An Introduction to Children First - E-learning module, with post graduate experience of safeguarding.
  • Permit to work in Republic of Ireland
  • Full clean Irish driving licence and use of a car.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • Desire to support people to live their best lives and commitment to promoting the active engagement and participation of Supported Individuals in their local communities.

Applicants should possess Level 1 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
