What you will do

• - Conduct assessments and reviews of foster carers and children in care to ensure their needs are adequately met and support plans are in place.
• - Work closely with foster families to provide guidance, support, and advice, ensuring the attainment of the best possible outcomes for children.
• - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop robust support strategies that promote the wellbeing and stability of children in care.
• - Maintain thorough records and documentation relating to all casework, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements of the Social Worker

• - Hold a degree or equivalent in social work and have current registration with Social Work England.
• - Substantial frontline experience within Social Services in the UK, working as a qualified Social Worker, ideally within fostering or care.
