This full-time locum position offers an exciting opportunity to earn £39 per hour on an ongoing basis. The role is based from the Ellesmere Port office, working 37 hours per week, and requires a solid background in Children in Care services.

What you will do:
  • Provide statutory social work services to children in care, ensuring their needs are met and welfare is safeguarded.
  • Undertake assessments, develop care plans, and review progress to support the well-being of children and young people.
  • Work collaboratively with a range of professionals, families, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for children in care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements of the Social Worker:
  • Degree or equivalent in social work.
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK, specifically with Children in Care.
