Hull City Council is seeking an experienced Adult Social Worker to join their Adult Services team, based at the Orchard Centre, Hull (HU6 9BX). This is an excellent opportunity for a confident practitioner to undertake meaningful statutory work across a range of adult care settings, ensuring high-quality, person-centred outcomes.

This role is ideal for a Social Worker with strong Care Act knowledge who is comfortable working across community and commissioned settings, with a clear focus on statutory reviews and effective use of direct payments.

The RoleCompleting statutory Care Act reviews across multiple settings, including care homes, community placements and day servicesReviewing and monitoring direct payment packages to ensure they continue to meet assessed needs and desired outcomesWorking directly with adults, carers, providers and partner agenciesEnsuring practice is compliant with Care Act legislation and local authority policiesMaintaining accurate, timely and high-quality case records

Working ArrangementsBased at the Orchard Centre, HU6 9BXOffice-based working a minimum of 3 days per weekFlexible working hours, subject to agreement with the line manager
