What you will do:
  • Lead and manage a team of dedicated social workers, ensuring high-quality service delivery within adult services.
  • Oversee case management and support staff to address complex safeguarding issues and achieve positive outcomes for service users.
  • Implement and evaluate effective social work practices within the team, establishing standards that meet organisational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other professionals in a multi-disciplinary setting to enhance service-user outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports to support case planning and governmental compliance.
Requirements of the Team Manager:
  • Possession of a degree or equivalent qualification in social work and a current Social Work England registration.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role such as Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager within Adult Services.
  • Extensive frontline experience in social work with a focus on adult services, showcasing your capability to lead effectively.
