Social Media Manager
(3-Month Contract)

Location: London office at Bankside
Hybrid: Minimum 2 days per week in London

Inside IR35 (Umbrella)

We're partnering with a global organisation in the healthcare and consumer goods sector to find an experienced Social Media Manager for a 3-month contract. This role sits within the Corporate Affairs function and plays a key part in shaping the company's digital voice across global social media channels and its corporate website.

About the Role

This is a strategic and hands-on position at the intersection of corporate reputation, storytelling, and digital innovation. You'll be responsible for managing the company's social media and website presence, supporting Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) strategies, and collaborating with global teams to deliver impactful, data-driven content.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Creation

  • Develop and execute a compelling social media strategy across corporate channels.
  • Draft and adapt content for social media and the corporate website.
  • Collaborate with global Corporate Affairs and Brand teams to source and shape content aligned with business priorities.
  • Ensure governance standards are upheld across all channels, working closely with legal and marketing teams.

Community Management

  • Establish and oversee global community management processes.
  • Respond to audiences in a timely, responsible, and engaging manner.
  • Monitor reputational risks in collaboration with Consumer Relations and escalate when necessary.

Data & Insights

  • Analyse and report on performance metrics weekly and monthly.
  • Use analytics tools to deliver actionable insights and inform content strategy.
  • Present clear, data-led impact reports to senior stakeholders.

About You

  • Proven experience managing corporate social media channels, ideally within a large, global, regulated organisation.
  • Strong understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models, and emerging digital trends.
  • Skilled in using AI drafting tools and integrating them into content workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor tone for diverse audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven strategy.
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and across global markets.
  • Able to balance creativity with risk awareness in community engagement.
