They are now seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to join their team in Amsterdam.


Job Profile for Social Media Manager

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Work in partnership with regional Digital Marketing Manager and Regional Marketing Leaders to develop country-specific social media strategies aligned to local business objectives
  • Plan, create, and publish engaging, high-quality LinkedIn posts that resonate with the company audiences
  • Create content to reflect regional trends, cultural nuances, and the company's tone of voice
  • Maintain a consistent content calendar, ensuring there is an appropriate pipeline of content
  • Own relationships with external agencies for content creation, publication and analytics
  • Set measurable goals for content and campaigns that demonstrate overall impact
  • Work with creative teams and agencies to develop new content that fits within brand guidelines and best practices
  • Analyse dashboard data, alongside monthly and quarterly reports, to spot trends and report back to leadership
  • Advise internal stakeholders on best practices for social media content creation and campaign planning


Candidate Profile for Social Media Manager

  • Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 4 years of social media experience in the B2B technology space
  • Knowledge of content creation using tools such as Canva
  • Working knowledge of a variety of social media tools, community platforms, and measurement, advocacy, and training or education platforms (experience working with Khotos is a plus)
  • Deep knowledge in developing organic and paid social campaigns using LinkedIn
  • Proven B2B experience in building social strategies, deploying successful campaigns, and cultivating audiences
  • Demonstrated efficiency in running multiple initiatives, vendors, and other key players as part of the social media practice
  • Analytic skills with the ability to analyse and provide deep insights
  • Effective interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written presentation skills
