Looking for an opportunity to launch your career in social media? We are on the search for a Social Media Assistant to join our team and support us - creating content, scheduling across all platforms, reporting & educating us on the latest viral trends. What you'll be doing:
- Planning and scheduling content across all our channels.
- Create social first content weekly to support key calendar moments.
- Community engagement: Engage with the NewLook community and be the voice behind the brand in the comments, DMs, captions and broadcast channel.
- Ability to research into key competitors and update us weekly on current trends.
- Support and attendance on events curating live in platform content, shoots, trips (i.e. Influencer activations) and PR activity.
- Support the Social Media Manager on reporting KPI's such as reach, engagement, and conversions, and analysing data to evaluate effectiveness.
- Support in researching into both existing and new platforms for potential new or missed opportunities.
- Collaborate with our copy & creative team to execute a cohesive, creative, social first experience per channel.
- Liaise with our design team across briefs, talent launches & seasonal activity briefing social first designs for individual platforms.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Talent & Influencer, and creative departments to align campaigns with overall marketing objectives.
- Collaborate and work with our Paid Media team to execute an omni channel experience.
Who you are:
- Previous experience within a social media role or similar desired but not necessary.
- Insight into all key social media platforms.
- Awareness of trends and the ever-changing social landscape.
- Ability to act with pace and work efficiently.
- Computer literate across all applications. Experience with using platforms such as 'In Shot, Canva and Photoshop) is desirable.
- A want to create viral content & learn about each platform we are active on.
- Written Communication: Strong written and verbal skills to help craft compelling copy to embody our brands tone and voice consistently across all social platforms.
- Organisation: Ability to be reactive and still adhere to set SLA's.
- Creativity: Innovative thinking for engaging content creation and campaign ideas.
- Adaptability: Keeping up with evolving social trends and platforms. Inspire the team on any missed viral opportunities.
- Relationship Building: Cultivating strong connections with stakeholders
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of the job.
- Passion for Social Media: Genuine enthusiasm for social media, with a particular interest in fashion.
