Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and highly organized Social Care Worker to support the delivery of high-quality care and support within our service. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all care provided is person-centred, safe, and effective, and delivered in accordance with regulatory and organisational standards.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver and support the provision of person-centred care in line with best practice and organisational policies.
  • Ensure all care practices meet regulatory requirements and professional standards.
  • Support the implementation of safeguarding procedures, health and safety policies, and quality assurance measures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for service users.
  • Promote the wellbeing, independence, and dignity of individuals receiving care.
  • Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of care services.
Requirements
  • QQI Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or a related discipline (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in a social care or health and social care setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience within a care environment is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) standards, safeguarding policies, and health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A professional, empathetic, and person-centred approach to care.
  • Full clean manual driver's licence (essential).
  • Must hold Stamp 4 permission to work in Ireland.
