Social Care Worker - Under 12's

Cpl Healthcare are delighted to partner with our client in the recruitment of Social Care Workers to join a residential service in Two-Mile-Borris.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in residential settings.
• Implement individual care plans to meet the emotional, social, and educational needs of young people.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment in compliance with HIQA standards, child protection policies, and safeguarding legislation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, management, and external agencies to ensure holistic care.
• Support young people in preparation for leaving care, as appropriate, and facilitate independence skills.
• Participate in reflective practice, training, and professional development.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in Social Care, Youth Work, or a related discipline (minimum Level 7).
• Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of HIQA regulations, child protection, and safeguarding standards.
• Ability to work with young people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.

Salary

0-2 years experience: €39,936 per annum

2+ years experience: €42,432 per annum
