Pay: £14.50 per hour (Monday-Friday) / £16.00 per hour (weekends)

Hours: Part-time and full-time available - mornings, evenings and weekends

Shifts: 8am - 5pm or 8am - 2:30pm or 5pm - 10pm

Driving licence & own vehicle: Required (mileage per mile)

Areas Covered: Wantage, Grove, Letcombe, Hanney, Charney Bassett and Hendred

FiNN Homecare is a small, family-run domiciliary care service based in Grove, supporting adults to live safely and comfortably in their own homes across Wantage and the surrounding villages. We are on a clear improvement journey - with a new digital care planning system (Unique:IQ), strengthened training and a refreshed management team - and we want carers who share our commitment to kindness, dignity and professional standards.

The role

As a Social Care Professional you will support people in their own homes with daily living, personal care and companionship, while promoting independence and safety. You will be a trusted member of our team, building meaningful relationships with the people you support.

What you'll be doing

• Providing compassionate personal care including washing, dressing and continence support
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers using correct moving and handling techniques
• Preparing meals and supporting nutrition and hydration
• Administering or prompting medication in line with training and company policies
• Supporting clients to access the community, attend appointments and stay socially connected
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Following individual care plans and risk assessments
• Accurately recording care using our digital care system (Unique:IQ)
• Reporting any concerns, incidents or safeguarding issues without delay

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car (mileage paid)

No previous care experience? That's OK - we provide full induction and ongoing training, including the Care Certificate, medication competency and moving & handling.
