Social Care Manager Young People Dublin-JN -58

We are recruiting a Social Care Manager for our residential based service for separated children seeking international protection. Our residential centre is based in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.

Separated children seeking international protection are aged under 18, are outside their country of origin, who may be in need of international protection and are separated from their parents or their legal/customary care giver.

As a Social Care Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a dedicated team, contribute to the development of a high-quality residential service, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people seeking safety, stability, and support.

The successful candidate will possess:

• A minimum level 8 degree in Social Care and 3 years' post qualification work experience in a children's residential care setting.

OR

• Level 7 in Social Care and a relevant management qualification and 4 years' post qualification work experience in a children's residential care setting.
• Strong experience in and demonstrated ability to empower others to achieve.
• Personal attributes of positivity, flexibility and problem-solving attitude as well as empathy and maturity are essential.
