Social Care Leader

TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Social Care Leader on behalf of a children's residential and fostering support service based in South Tipperary. This service provides care to children between the ages of 7 and 12.

The role is a full time permanent role working 39 hours per week across 7 days

and will include sleepovers.

Salary: €51,666-€60,336 per annum and premium rates apply for unsociable hours.

Positions also available for a Social care worker (Nights)

This organisation boasts a low staff turnover with some staff members holding their post for over 20 years.

The Role

As a Social Care Leader you will be expected to take responsibility for the management of staff and young people when coordinating a shift or when deputising for your manager. You will be required to have an understanding of the therapeutic community principles and an awareness of the psychodynamic model of care in operation.

Requirements

• Eligibility to work in Ireland
• A qualification at degree level on the National Framework of Qualifications in Social Care. Qualifications considered as a related and a relevant field are: degree in Psychology Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Youth and Community Work, Social Work and Social Sciences, Teaching and Nursing.
• 3 years' experience working at Social Care grade with children.
