Job Description

Social Care Lawyer needed in Taunton Paying £36.45 per hr ref OR19024

Full time hours on a temporarybasis

Key Responsibilities

Deliver expert legal advice, representation, and case management on SEND-related issues.
Ensure compliance with the Children and Families Act 2014 and related legislation, promoting lawful and fair decision-making.
Lead weekly case management meetings with Senior Assessment Officers, advising on tribunal and mediation casework.
Triaging tribunal and mediation cases to ensure timely and effective handling.
Manage and represent in the most complex tribunal cases, including preparation and attendance at hearings.
Provide legal support and guidance across the wider SEND team.
Deliver training sessions on SEND legal processes and compliance.
Quality assure case bundles to maintain accuracy and completeness.
