Snowflake Expert

Snowflake Expert - Contract position, 6 months initially, once or twice a quarter, onsite in Dublin City Center.

Overview

We are currently seeking a strong Snowflake expert to join our data team. This role requires in-depth hands-on experience with Snowflake and a strong background in data engineering.

Key Requirements

• Proven, hands-on, strong expertise with Snowflake (essential)
• Azure Data Factory (ADF): Proficient in building and managing ETL/ELT pipelines, including parameterisation, error handling, and pipeline orchestration.
• SQL & Scripting: Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning in high-volume data processing environments (Snowflake preferred).
• Strong experience in data engineering and data platforms
• Ability to work on complex data models and pipelines

Certifications:

• A Snowflake (Snow Pro or any similar), Azure Data Engineer, or related cloud data engineering certification is highly desirable (not mandatory).
