Job Description
Account Manager - SMB

TikTok's SMB team helps businesses of all sizes achieve their marketing goals on TikTok by combining operational expertise with a customer centric strategic approach. The Account Manager will partner with SMB advertisers in the UKI market to activate, nurture, and grow accounts in a one to many structure.

Responsibilities
  • Grow revenue, educate, and lead strategic conversations with SMB clients and agencies.
  • Identify and create compelling sales propositions using internal and external data for clients in specific regions, industries or objectives that can be pitched en masse with minimal customization.
  • Develop a deep understanding of TikTok's products, processes and tools; demonstrate expertise in all matters relevant to the book of business, including escalation and troubleshooting to resolve client issues.
  • Work with small and medium clients to optimize and improve the performance of their TikTok campaigns and identify programmatic ways to do this at scale.
  • Adopt a growth mindset, learn quickly, embrace challenges, and view uncertainty as an opportunity to thrive.
  • Support new team members, share knowledge, and collaborate with cross functional teams to structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous account management or sales experience.
  • Demonstrable experience or knowledge of the marketing/social media/advertising industry with a strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem; knowledge of the SMB landscape is a plus.
  • Passionate about TikTok marketing and willing to build something from the bottom up.
  • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals with a large book of business.
  • Critical thinking, analytical skills with an entrepreneurial and proactive mind set.

  • Team working skills and ability to adapt to a fast paced, international work environment.
  • Strong communication skills essential for success in the UK/I markets.
