Small Garden Machinery Service Engineer

We are seeking a hardworking, reliable and experienced 2 stroke, handheld Machinery Engineer for our Chudleigh depot.

Are you looking for a secure career with the potential for development. This role will be working on a variety of equipment, both in workshop and on customer premises.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Perform diagnostics, service, and repairs on Garden Machinery equipment.
• Perform pre-delivery set up on new or used equipment.
• Completion of job-related administration and reports (job cards/DTAC/ digital timesheets etc).
• Maintain a tidy and organised workstation.
• Competent to carry out vehicle diagnostics.
• Follow company health & safety rules.
• Undertake training.
• Confident in the use of IT.
• Ability to work with the latest industry technologies.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Vehicle driving licence.
• Ideally familiar with John Deere, Stihl and competitive products.
• Excellent communication skills
