My client in Islington is looking to recruit a Veterinary Surgeon with a strong clinical focus, particularly in areas such as internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, or cardiology. This position presents an excellent opportunity for a vet who is keen to develop a specific clinical interest within a progressive and well supported practice that places emphasis on continuity of care, professional development, and maintaining high clinical standards.
Responsibilities & Qualifications- Managing a varied caseload that is growing in both volume and complexity.
- Employing a thorough, investigative approach to diagnostics and patient care.
- Building strong and lasting relationships with clients through consistent, high quality care.
- Influencing the clinical direction of the practice and contributing to the ongoing development of in house services.
- Demonstrating confidence in managing medical cases and a passion for clinical problem solving.
- Committing to teamwork, clear communication, and maintaining excellent standards of care.
- Having a genuine interest in advancing expertise in medicine, imaging, or cardiology, and holding or pursuing the relevant certificate.
The position typically involves a four day working week with a regular day off, alongside a weekend rota that can be tailored depending on preference. Flexibility is considered an important part of ensuring a sustainable and enjoyable role.
LocationBased in North London, the practice is well established with a loyal and expanding client base and benefits from a convenient location close to excellent transport links, including Essex Road, Highbury & Islington, and Angel.
