Key Job Info:

  • Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday 08:30-18:30
  • Weekend Working: 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
  • On-Call / Out-of-Hours: None required
  • Salary: £65,000 per annum - reflective of skills and experience

The position offers a mix of surgery and consultations without the need for out-of-hours or on-call duties.

The successful candidate will
  • Perform routine and elective surgeries.
  • Conduct consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, reception, and veterinary colleagues to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical care and client communication.
  • Participate in a 1 in 3 Saturday morning rota.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon registered to practise in the UK.
  • Have relevant clinical experience, ideally in both surgical and consultative roles.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, empathy, and a client-focused approach.
  • Thrive in a team-oriented environment, working alongside skilled nurses and support staff.

The facility includes modern equipment such as an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and separate dog and cat wards.
