Role Overview

I have a great practice seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly, long established practice in Folkestone, a lively seaside town that offers an appealing blend of coastal living and convenient access to London in under an hour. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinary professional looking to step into a leadership position while enjoying sea views, a thriving cultural scene and the support of a nationwide veterinary network committed to professional growth.

In this role, the Lead Veterinary Surgeon will be instrumental in shaping the direction of the practice, guiding and mentoring a dedicated team, and maintaining exceptional standards of patient and client care. With access to modern equipment and strong regional support, the successful candidate will be well placed to flourish in a progressive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shape the direction of the practice, guide and mentor the team, and maintain exceptional standards of patient and client care.
  • Deliver outstanding clinical care through consultations and surgical procedures, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
  • Create bespoke treatment plans in partnership with clients, work collaboratively with colleagues, and share knowledge and expertise to inspire and develop others.
Qualifications
  • Qualified MRCVS with a strong commitment to clinical excellence and client care.
  • Experienced veterinary surgeon motivated to lead, develop others and contribute to the continued success of the practice.
