SKILLED SPRAYER AND QUADTRAC OPERATOR

Due to an external promotion a skilled arable operator is required to join our team on a progressive high performing 1200ha farm in Bedfordshire growing milling wheat, barley, OSR, peas and beans along with a large trials area ensuring the farm is at the forefront of the latest technological advances within the arable industry.

The role will involve operating the 36m Bateman Sprayer, 620 Quadtrac with a new 8m Vaderstad Rapid, 6m Watkins Quadtill, plus other cultivation machinery, workshop duties and general farm work.

Previous experience in cultivating, drilling and spraying is required as is the use of precision technology, The successful candidate must also have a positive attitude and outlook, drive and motivation with a keen eye for detail whilst also being neat and tidy in their work.

Good communication skills along with the ability and willingness to work long hours including any weekends required to get the job done.

Suitable candidates will ideally possess some form of agricultural qualification along with PA1/2, telehandler certificates, but may be in the early stages of their farming career as training can be provided and tailored to the individual.

The successful applicant will be expected join us early in 2026 but this can be flexible to suit the right candidate.
