Perform Recruitment is hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing civil engineering company specialising in water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Ireland.

Due to continued growth, new contracts, and project extensions, they are looking to recruit experienced and reliable Site Supervisors to join their expanding civil engineering teams nationwide.

Locations: Kilkenny, Carlow, Waterford, Wexford, Tipperary, and Portlaoise.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced site supervision professionals to contribute to essential water and wastewater infrastructure projects while developing their careers within a growing engineering organisation.

The Role

As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, coordinating site teams and subcontractors, and ensuring that civil engineering works are completed safely, efficiently, to the required quality standards, and within agreed project timelines.

Your day-to-day could include:

• Overseeing the day-to-day running of site operations across water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Coordinating and managing site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitoring project progress to ensure deadlines, milestones, and targets are achieved.
• Supervising civil engineering, groundworks, and related construction activities.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality control across all site activities.
• Managing labour timesheets, supplier records, and site documentation.
• Maintaining accurate HSQE (Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental) records and documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, site procedures, and relevant industry standards.
• Coordinating site activities to support the smooth and efficient delivery of projects.
• Identifying site issues and working with relevant teams to resolve them effectively.
• Promoting a strong health and safety culture among site personnel and subcontractors.

You'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of water and wastewater infrastructure projects while contributing to the successful delivery of essential civil engineering works across Ireland.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working in a Site Supervisor role.
• Proven experience in water infrastructure, wastewater, or heavy civil engineering projects.
• Up-to-date relevant training and certifications.
• Strong knowledge of site operations, groundworks, and construction activities.
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and coordination skills.
• Strong communication and team management abilities.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements and site compliance.
• Ability to monitor progress, manage competing priorities, and meet project deadlines.
• A proactive and reliable approach to site supervision and problem-solving.
