At ENGIE, we're committed to accelerating the transition towards a carbon-neutral world. We're seeking a Site Services Engineer to join our team at our Stublach Gas Storage Facility in Cheshire.
In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring safe operations while managing our estate and fostering positive relationships with local stakeholders.
What you will do- To oversee safe operations at the Stublach Gas Storage Facility, prioritizing the protection of personnel, contractors, and the environment
- To manage civils activities, facilities, and land management works on the Stublach site
- To act as the key point of contact for interactions with the landowner and tenant farmers
- To lead preventative maintenance activities and ensure operational areas remain defect-free
- To manage buried services drawings and advise on service locations for civils-based work activities
- To develop and manage estate maintenance projects, including building fabric, roads, fencing, drainage, and landscaping
- A degree holder in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Land Management
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification holder (desirable)
- Experienced in using CAT & Genny to locate existing services (EUSR Category 1: Locate Utility Services desirable)
- Proficient in managing contracts and developing project scopes, programmes, and budgets
- Knowledgeable about health and safety regulations, particularly CDM regulations
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder management
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
This is a site based role is based at our site in Stublach, Cheshire ( CW9 7SE)
