Job Description
Our partner client is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join its growing team.
This position will focus on monitoring,alerting,deployment,automation and site/production issue mitigation/resolution.
The team you will be joining is expanding with growing responsibilities with plenty of opportunities to progress.
Responsibilities- You will ensure high availability with adequate monitoring and instrumentation.
- Maintain and extend operational processes to ensure high reliability of entire technology stack.
- Implement best practice to manage utilisation optimisation and monitoring of cloud services.
- Handle deployments automation and instrumentation and conduct analysis to improve DevOps.
- Participate in daytime on-call rotation to support site and production issues.
- Manage computing and storage infrastructure if needed on private cloud.
- Experience automating Linux system provisioning.
- Experience with logging infrastructure and tools such as Logtash Elasticsearch Kibana Splunk and HDFS.
- Configuration management experience with Ansible Puppet Chef or Salt desired.
- You will require experience with DevOps tools processes and culture.
- 2-4 years experience in SRE DevOps or production operations role.
- Hands on experience scripting with Perl,Python or Ruby.
- Technical generalist knowledge of system administration Databases ,Network Platforms.
