What you'll be doing as a Site Production Manager:- You will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operation of Thames Water's largest Production Plant. Including direct and indirect people performance management and coaching.
- Direct line management of other managers and highly experienced Process Control Engineers.
- Process management.
- Extensive site production planning with a key focus on water production. Ensuring the site remains compliant with several regulatory outputs, including Water Quality compliance, environmental permitting and COMAH compliance as the Controller of the Premises of a large COMAH site.
- Responsible for all aspects of Health and Safety related to the operation of the site. Liaison with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Supporting and facilitating other teams responsible for delivering service to our customers.
- Maintain and contribute to a succession plan as part of the wider Water Production team.
- Proactive administration of the Recruitment Process to maintain the resource level in the team.
- Have previous knowledge and experience working in a clean/wastewater treatment process environment.
- Have demonstrable management experience of front-line operational teams in a similar environment.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and demonstrable ability to manage and prioritise a heavy workload under pressure.
- You will be confident in your ability to present key findings and liaise with managers of all levels.
- Having a strong background in process management with excellent skills in operations, engineering, finance, H&S, stakeholder engagement, and customer focus is essential.
- Due to the nature of this role, you must hold a full UK driver's Licence.
- Offering a salary up to £60,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
- 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 days with the length of service (Plus bank holidays)
