Location: Horsham
Salary: £12.91 per hour
Hours: Thursday to Monday (Tuesdays & Wednesdays off)
Summer hours (1 April - 30 September): 08:45 - 18:15
Winter hours (1 October - 31 March): 08:45 - 16:15

As a Site Operative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our recycling centre runs safely and efficiently. From helping members of the public to maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the site, you'll be supporting a greener, cleaner community every day.

Your core responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day running of the site and ensure smooth operations
• Assist visitors in sorting and recycling waste correctly
• Keep the site clean, safe, and well organised
• Prevent commercial or non-compliant waste from entering
• Promote recycling and help maximise segregation of materials
• Provide great customer service while working outdoors in all weathers
• Be part of a friendly, supportive team making a real impact locally
